This module is a sequel to Module W1: Planning a Business Using ICT. The primary objective of this module is to introduce existing and aspiring women entrepreneurs to the set up and management of a business, and the ways in which Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) can help in the process. The module provides fundamental business management concepts, analytical tools and ICT applications for setting up and running a business. This module is aimed at women who are ICT literate, are using ICTs only for basic tasks (e.g. making calls, text messaging, e-mail), and are interested in using ICTs for more advanced business functions (e.g. online marketing and selling). Nevertheless, non-users of ICT can also benefit from the module. In consideration of the needs and preferences of women entrepreneurs, the module offers not only awareness and knowledge, but also suggested activities for women entrepreneurs to start applying the concepts and tools to their businesses.
