Virtual Review of the Draft Module on ICT Project Management Theory and Application for Digital Transformation Project

The Asian and Pacific Training Centre for ICT for Development (APCICT/ESCAP) will be conducting a Virtual Review of the Draft Module on ICT Project Management Theory and Application for Digital Transformation project on 3 November 2021. The virtual meeting is being convened with the objective of soliciting comments and feedback to ensure the module’s quality, accessibility, and relevance to the target audience of project leaders and civil servants.

Academy Module on "Digital Government and Transformation"

The last two decades have seen a rapid societal transformation in the way information is processed and consumed. Digital technologies are now playing a catalyzing role in the digitization of services to citizens and are being used in multiple functions across Governments. This module provides an overview of how digital technologies can be used to improve the quality of governance and, in turn, contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

High-Level Briefing on Digital Government for Maldives 

The Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology of the Republic of Maldives and APCICT/ESCAP organized a High-Level Briefing on Digital Government on 23 June 2021. The virtual event aimed to deepen understanding among the country’s policymakers on how digital government can advance the sustainable agenda and their roles as champions of effective digital policies and programme. It was attended by high-level and senior officials across ministries as well as by members of the Parliament.
