Following the launch, national Academy workshops on module 5 “Internet Governance” (27-30 July) and module 3 “e-Government Applications” (3-5 August) were organized. To further enhance awareness and develop capacities on ICTD, 20 of APCICT’s Academy modules, Primer Series and knowledge products were translated into Persian and 40,000 copies will be disseminated to the 31 provinces in Iran.
The Academy is APCICT's flagship ICTD human capacity development programme for policymakers and government officials. The 11-module Academy curriculum aims to build the capacity of civil servants to leverage ICT to achieve national development goals.
